Registered Architect | Architectural Technician | Civil Engineer

    states seeks an Architectural graduate (level 1) to join the firm.

  be well organized, very detail oriented, able to multi-task, and feel comfortable
  working on a team and independently. Strong interpersonal skills are preferred since
  the position will meet with clients, planners, and contractors.

Required Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Architecture
• A portfolio is required.
• Practical knowledge of general architecture practice including programming, site
  planning, and structural concepts
• Excellent knowledge of architectural design documentation, detailing, building materials and codes, construction techniques, as well as building material compatibility and characteristics
• Ability to manage client and consultant relationships
• Advanced knowledge of the architectural design process, construction documentation, administration and materials are essential.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• LEED AP preferred
• One-year architectural experience

Skills and Duties:

• Candidate will plan and design structures
• Candidate will work with design and engineering team in designing commercial and industrial structures
• Candidate will manage design projects through building code analysis, survey and geotech RFPs
• Candidate will create project documentation for bids
• Motivated and energetic leader willing to take initiative and tackle any task
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit, and AutoCad.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Sketchup
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, 3-D Studio Max, Twinmotion, Rhino and Enscape experience a plus
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications required.
• Strong knowledge of code and good planning skills
• Ability to lead and manage projects as needed
• Experience in business development, marketing, and client presentation is a plus
• Graphic presentation skills

Salary:

• Compensation will be based on level of education and experience.

• Our office is located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The candidate’s work location will be in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
